Dr. David Vojtisek, B.Sc., N.D.
Dr. David Vojtisek, B.Sc., N.D. is proud and happy to have the privelage of serving members in the community of Edmonton, which he has called home for over 25 years and looks forward to assisting all of you on your personal path to Health and Wellness. His journey to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor began during his childhood. Ever since an early age he was very interested in plants, animals and the workings of nature in general.
He was born and raised in Eastern Europe where the use of healing herbs, hydrotherapy and other natural healing methods were always very much a part of the cultural paradigm and so when it came time for the actual study of the Naturopathic modalities, the transition felt quite natural to him.
Education and Training
- From 1987-1991 attended the University of Alberta and attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences
- From 2003-2007 he attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario, one of only six such accredited colleges in North America, attaning a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Degree
- From 2006 to 2007 served as Naturopathic Intern at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario
- From 2006 to 2007 served as Naturopathic Intern at the Queen West Community Health Center in Toronto, Ontario
- In 2007 attained advanced certification in Parenteral Therapy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine
- In 2009 attained certification to perform Chelation and Advanced Intravenous Therapies, in Vancouver, British Columbia.
